Welcome! I’m Oliver A. Greenwood, and I have the honor of calling Pleasant Hill my home for many years. Together with my wife Ann, we have raised our three wonderful children here, deeply embedding ourselves in the community's fabric. 

As a resident, parent, and active community member, I am dedicated to ensuring that Pleasant Hill remains a vibrant, safe, and thriving place for all its residents. My diverse background, from serving in the United States Marine Corps to practicing law and leading community organizations, equips me with a unique perspective and a robust set of skills to serve on the City Council effectively.

Professional Background:

- United States Marine Corps Veteran: Serving as a machine-gunner from 1991 to 1995, I learned the values of discipline, leadership, and dedication—qualities that continue to guide my approach to public service.

- Attorney and Business Owner: Since 2005, I have been practicing law, focusing on estate planning and probate litigation, including conservatorships and guardianships. My practice, located in Pleasant Hill, reflects my commitment to serving the local community's legal needs.

- Community Leadership: As a former director and president of the Contra Costa Bar Association, I played a crucial role in keeping our courts operational during the pandemic. I have also been the head commissioner for the Pleasant Hill Baseball Association since 2019, supporting nearly 1,900 young athletes in our community.
